A New Way to Understand Your Cancer, Without a Tissue Biopsy

Biopsies can be stressful. For many patients they are painful, risky or not possible because of where the tumor is or how you are feeling. CellSight™ is a blood test that gives your care team key information about your cancer without surgery.

What Is CellSight™?

CellSight™ is a next-generation liquid biopsy. It looks for circulating tumor cells in your blood, which carry key genetic information about your cancer, and reads their DNA.

With a simple blood draw, it helps your doctor:

  • Identify important mutations that may guide treatment
  • Understand how the cancer is changing
  • Make decisions faster when waiting for tissue results isn't an option

The test does not replace your doctor's judgment. Your care team decides whether the test is right for you and what the results mean for your care.

What to Expect

  1. Your Doctor Orders the Test

CellSight™ DNA is ordered by a licensed healthcare provider as part of your care.

  2. A Blood Draw

Two small tubes from a vein in your arm, about four teaspoons in total. No fasting or preparation is needed, and mobile phlebotomy can come to you.

  3. Testing at Our Lab

We isolate the cancer cells and sequence their DNA. This usually takes 10 to 14 days once the sample arrives.

  4. Results to Your Doctor

The report goes to your doctor, who will review it with you and explain what it means.
